Smith Feike Minton – Where Employees are Family

Sherry Maynard

Since our first policy was written in 1877, our core values have remained the same. This includes a commitment to our communities to be a provider of stable employment and helpful products. Whether for our employees, customers or providers, we’re in the business of building strong relationships with people, centered on the belief that insurance is a valuable product that provides the security and peace-of-mind upon which the best communities are built.

Even though it’s a normal course of business for us, we engage in many community activities to strengthen our relationships with employees, often blending our relationships into one overall community family. You have read about some of the ways in which we work as a team to give back to our communities, including sponsoring sporting events, theater & business events, internships and food banks.

Now, we join together to celebrate the 25th work anniversary of Sherry Maynard, our personal lines account manager. Sherry embodies the SFM culture. “I love the family atmosphere at SFM, where everyone supports each other and has each other’s back,” says Sherry. “The employees not only take an interest in their coworker’s home life and kids, but are also there when their family needs them the most. When a crisis occurs, we don’t need to worry about our jobs as the rest of the team gladly steps in to help with our work responsibilities.”

Throughout Sherry’s tenure, she has delivered creative insurance solutions for her clients as well as actively participated in the community and SFM events. “One of my favorite events was our company family picnic with the inflatable slides, bouncy houses and obstacle courses,” recalls Sherry.

Thank you, Sherry, for your commitment to helping clients achieve their goals and offering solutions that give peace of mind. We look forward to your continued success and can’t wait to celebrate as an SFM family.
