Our Team

Brian joined SFM in 1993 and represents the fourth generation of leadership within the organization. With a Finance degree from Xavier University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, he brings strong financial and strategic expertise to his work advising commercial clients. Brian is focused on delivering sophisticated risk management and insurance solutions, helping businesses navigate complex coverage needs with confidence.
Beyond his work at SFM, Brian is actively engaged in the community. He serves on the Clinton County Port Authority Board and is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and the Wilmington Rotary Club. His leadership, both within the agency and in the community, reflects his commitment to service, stewardship, and continued growth.

John joined SFM in 1988 and leads the agency’s Personal Lines and Agriculture divisions. With decades of experience, he partners with individuals, families, and agricultural businesses to build personalized insurance solutions that protect what matters most. John provides thoughtful guidance and support, helping clients navigate coverage decisions with confidence and clarity.
He studied at The Ohio State University and remains active in the community, currently serving on the Clinton County MRDD board. John’s long-standing commitment to service reflects his dedication to both SFM and the region’s families and farm operations.

Todd served for many years as co-owner of Heskett Insurance and Weisenberger Insurance before partnering with SFM Insurance in 2024. He and his wife, Mary, chose to join SFM to ensure their clients would continue to receive the highest level of service and personalized care, while entrusting day-to-day operations to a firm that shares their values, client-first philosophy, and commitment to community.
Todd remains actively engaged with clients and continues to provide trusted guidance and support. He is also a dedicated member of the Hillsboro community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Highland County Hospital Foundation, reflecting his longstanding commitment to local service and leadership.

Mary served for many years as co-owner of Heskett Insurance and Weisenberger Insurance before partnering with SFM Insurance in 2024. She and her husband, Todd, chose to align with SFM to ensure their clients would continue to receive exceptional service and personalized attention, while entrusting daily operations to a firm that shares their values and commitment to client care.
Mary remains closely connected to the clients she has served for decades, continuing to provide knowledgeable guidance and support. She is deeply involved in the Hillsboro community, dedicating much of her time to the Highland County Hospital Foundation and other local initiatives that support quality of life and community well-being.

Peyton joined SFM in 2025 and brings a strong foundation in agriculture and community involvement to his role. A Clinton County native and current Highland County resident, Peyton graduated from Wilmington College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science. He has spent the past five years working in the agriculture industry and is excited to bring that experience into personal lines, agribusiness, and commercial insurance sales.
Peyton is deeply invested in the local community. He serves on the Highland County Farm Bureau board, is a member of the Highland County Chamber of Commerce and is an active board member of the Highland County NWTF chapter. His commitment to agriculture, local business, and service reflects his dedication to helping individuals and businesses protect what matters most.

Anthony joined SFM in 2025, bringing strong sales experience and a people-first mindset to the insurance profession. Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, he pairs his high-energy sales background with a commitment to building meaningful, long-term client relationships. Anthony’s mission is to simplify the complexities of insurance, making sure clients understand the value of proper protection and feel confident in their coverage decisions.
A former student at Western Kentucky University, Anthony values continuous learning and is currently expanding his expertise across both commercial and personal insurance lines. Beyond the office, Anthony is a proud father and business owner who enjoys riding motorcycles and working on his own vehicles, reflecting his hands-on work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.

Donna joined SFM in 2018 and brings more than 20 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry. She serves as a trusted advisor to clients, assisting with coverage needs, providing guidance, and fostering strong, client-focused relationships built on service and integrity. Donna’s professional foundation includes a paralegal degree, which enhances her attention to detail and understanding of complex documentation and regulatory matters.
In addition to her industry expertise, Donna is committed to giving back and actively volunteers in the community for a variety of causes.

Anessa joined SFM in 2010 and brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She supports many of SFM’s larger and more complex commercial clients, guiding them through coverage selection and providing trusted expertise on sophisticated risk and policy questions. Anessa has earned both the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designations, demonstrating her continued commitment to professional excellence and client advocacy.
In addition to her work at SFM, Anessa founded Igniting a Spark to Prevent Suicide, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, resources, and support to communities, schools, organizations, and individuals.

Kevin joined SFM in 2024 as a Customer Support Agent. He brings ten years of experience from an international insurance company and applies his strong industry background to support SFM’s back-office operations. Kevin is focused on delivering efficient, accurate service and ensuring internal processes run smoothly, contributing to a seamless client experience.

Cindy joined SFM in 2015 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She brought with her ten years of experience from a national insurance carrier, providing a strong foundation in commercial risk management and client service. Cindy’s expertise spans a wide range of business clients, including small businesses, mid-sized organizations, and agribusiness accounts.
Relationship-building and customer care are central to Cindy’s approach. She works closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver thoughtful, tailored coverage solutions that support and protect their operations.

Kathy joined SFM in 2017 as a Personal Lines Account Manager. She brings more than 20 years of customer care experience, along with a strong commitment to delivering thoughtful, attentive service to every client she supports. Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and English from Wilmington College, providing her with a strong foundation in clear communication and client engagement.
Her professionalism, client-focused approach, and deep experience in customer service make her a valuable member of our personal lines team.

Stephanie joined SFM in 2024 and brings five years of experience in the insurance industry. She is committed to delivering thoughtful, knowledgeable service to clients and is excited to continue her career as part of the SFM personal lines team. Stephanie is a graduate of Sinclair Community College and a member of both Phi Theta Kappa and the National Society of Leadership and Success, reflecting her dedication to academic excellence and continuous learning.
In addition to her professional experience, Stephanie is deeply engaged in her community. She serves as Secretary of the Friends of the Wilmington Public Library and as Assistant Secretary of the CWM Board at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). An active member of her church, she volunteers at numerous community events, demonstrating her enthusiasm for service and her commitment to making a positive local impact.

Margo joined SFM in August 2025, bringing valuable experience in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance. A graduate of Miami University, she began her professional journey in mortgage processing, where she discovered a passion for helping first-time homebuyers protect their most important investment. That experience naturally guided her into a career in insurance and client protection.
Margo is committed to delivering thoughtful guidance and meaningful peace of mind to every client she serves. Outside the office, she volunteers with the American Heart Association, demonstrating her dedication to supporting both her community and the well-being of others.

Sherry has been a valued member of SFM since 1993 and serves as the agency’s lead Personal Lines Account Manager. Her dedication to professional growth throughout her career has earned her multiple industry designations, including CPSR, CPIA, and CISR. Clients benefit from her expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to ensuring each coverage conversation is thorough, clear, and tailored to their needs.
Sherry’s long-standing service and client-centered approach exemplify the values of our agency. Outside the office, she is actively involved in the Chillicothe youth bowling leagues, sharing her time and enthusiasm with young bowlers in the community.

Kelly is a Personal Lines Account Manager who joined SFM Insurance in 2025 through the acquisition of Weisenberger Insurance. She has worked in the insurance industry since 2013 and brings extensive experience, genuine care for her clients, and a commitment to finding coverage solutions tailored to each individual’s needs. Kelly thrives on the challenge and continual learning that the insurance field provides, and she truly enjoys building meaningful relationships with those she serves.
Outside the office, Kelly is passionate about animal rescue and dedicates much of her time to helping save and support cats in need.

Carolyn joined SFM in 2007 and serves as the agency’s Claims Manager. She works diligently as a liaison between our insurance carriers and clients, ensuring claims are handled promptly, accurately, and with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes. Her commitment to advocacy and clear communication provides clients with confidence and support during challenging moments.
In addition to her claims leadership, Carolyn oversees SFM’s IT and communications infrastructure, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our internal systems.

Julie joined SFM in 1997 and serves as the agency’s Controller. She oversees accounting, human resources, IT, and facilities management across all corporate offices, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the organization. With nearly three decades of service, Julie plays a vital role in supporting the agency’s people, systems, and financial stewardship.
A graduate of Wright State University, Julie has been actively involved in the community and industry. She is a past board member of the Greater Wilmington Human Resource Association and the Clinton County Leadership Institute.

Brittany joined SFM in 2022 as our Administrative Assistant. She supports the organization with exceptional service, managing all incoming calls and walk-in traffic at our Wilmington office while assisting both the accounting and sales departments. Her ability to balance multiple responsibilities with professionalism and care makes her an indispensable part of our team and a welcoming first point of contact for clients and visitors.
Brittany is a graduate of Laurel Oaks CDC, where she completed a two-year business management program and was inducted into the National Honor Society. She holds an associate degree from Purdue Global University and is a member of the National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars. Beyond the office, Brittany is a devoted wife and mother of four, bringing the same commitment, energy, and heart to her family life that she brings to SFM each day.
