Wow – 20 years sure goes by quickly when you’re having fun! Back in 1997, when I first joined SFM, I never dreamed I’d be here 20 years later, still fulfilled in my career, still being challenged, and still growing to expand our offerings and insurance services for our neighbors throughout many communities in Ohio.
As 2017 comes to a close and I reflect on the past year, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have celebrated two decades with SFM – time that included personal milestones like anniversaries and having children, to community involvement such as becoming an active and proud member of the Greater Wilmington Human Resource Association and a board member of the Clinton County Leadership Institute.
My time at SFM has offered me opportunities to grow – while supporting me along the way. I am proud of the individual attention we provide our customers and clients and the wide range of insurance services we provide, from commercial insurance to farm insurance to life insurance. Leading our Human Resources, I’m able to see first-hand how our team members go above and beyond to provide specific solutions tailored to individual needs – while being a personal voice on the other end of the line when someone needs to file a claim or has a question.
Our community involvement continues to grow, too – with the majority of our employees participating in local organizations such as youth sports, fostering small business growth in their communities, serving on the Clinton County MRDD board, to being actively involved in the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Association.
How proud I am to be a part of this innovative, supportive team that is about so much more than insurance services – but about family, community and giving back.
